My name is Ed Hatrick-Smith. I have a Bachelor's degree in Design with a major in Media Design (UNITEC - 2007). I have worked in various forms within the design industry including as a freelancer, contractor and full time employee.
I am passionate about the concept of doing business online. I love that people can shop for anything in the world from their computer and that you can make good money through blog's, etc, without selling anything. I also love the application of good design to technical mediums such as the web.
One day I plan on building my own companies. As an enthusiastic novice entrepreneur I am trying to develop a diverse understanding of all aspects of developing and operating successful web sites and business. This is in part for my learning but more importantly so that I can extend that knowledge to my customers for the benefit of their business. I want to enter into quality partnerships with business owners and share in their success.
Other than online business, I am a passionate amateur photographer, keen traveller and all-round down to Earth sort of individual.
